Our products from Indonesia are woven from white and black bamboo, which are considered an invasive plant that is encroaching the native forests.  The harvesting is done by cutting and is completely sustainable.  Our head artisan, Pac Udin, created the unique weaving technique.    The average time to weave a basket is about one and a half days.  These are handcrafted items so sizes are approximate.
